Recipe – Energy Bars: Ajwa Dates To Loose Weight

If you want to loose weight, you can do workout and skip meal with these delicious and nutritious Energy Bars. Ajwa Energy Bars can also be made and stored for many weeks. Energy Bars are very convenient, on-the-go snack to toss in your gym bag, but they can be full of added sugar and other not-so-desirable ingredients. These Ajwa Dates Energy Bars are perfect alternatives to the energy bars you buy from supermarket. Here is a simple recipe to make it.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup Ajwa Dates chopped
  • 1 cup cashew Nuts
  • 1/2 cup natural Almond
  • 1 cup Coconut powder
  • vanilla essence
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 tsp water
PREPARATION
  1. Place dates, cashews, almonds and sea salt in a food processor. Pulse until coarsely chopped.
  2. Add coconut and extract; pulse again adding water a little at a time until mixture makes a moist but not sticky dough.
  3. Press firmly into a 9-inch square baking dish. Chill for 1 hour before serving.
